This piece will definitely go down as one of the most challenging I've undertaken in my decade or so of "serious" composition. There are just so many challenges---how to circuit bend without destroying decades-old electronics, how to solder without trashing joints, how to semi-control what are essentially aleatoric process, how to notate said aleatoric processes in a way that makes the piece reproducible ...
